Objective

This study module will provide the student with foundation on how the business environment operates. We will also discuss the nature and the role of the entrepreneurial activity. After completing these studies the student is able toto perform a market research and identify market needsto find relevant and reliable data, and to process and analyse this data to enrich a market researchto carry out a macro level enviromental analysis and analyse the impacts of differentfactors on developingproducts, services and businessessto apply the 7 Ps of marketing to position a product or serviceto analyse business environment factors affecting financial decisions and financial goals of a businessto initiate a business idea creation activityto assess different kinds of approaches and business models to fulfill market needsto apply mathematics principles in business situationsto make use of IT tools to analyse quantitative and qualitative data, develop reports and presentations
