SPECIALISATION IN NURSING 2 8 cr EHERI2Students willGain further proficiency in determining the need for, planning, administering and evaluating specialised patient careLearn to support and provide guidance to patients and their family membersLearn to make decisions requiring emergency care and nursing expertise in cooperation with the patient and other professional groups, as well as to support the patient’s resources to promote the patient’s healthDeepen their understanding of the CRM approach and follow it in their workUnderstand the ethics and fundamental values of nursing and base their actions on current knowledgeDeepen their pharmacotherapy competence in different fields of emergency care and nursing (medication passport)Master the special features of clinical emergency care and nursing and related documentationKnow how to represent the customer and the field of nursing in different teamsAdhere to aseptic principles in different situations Know how to administer medication reliably and appropriately for the field of speciality Monitor the patient’s condition and the effectiveness of medicationUnderstand how their own actions affect the promotion and maintenance of nursing quality

Asiakaslähtöinen, eettinen ja ammatillinen osaaminen, näyttöön perustuva kliininen osaaminen, opetus ja ohjasuosaaminen, yhteistyöosaaminen sosiaali-ja terveydenhuollon toimintaympäristöissä ja hoitotyön kehittäminen arvioinnin kohteina.
