Master-studies, not for bachelor-studies. From open UAS max. 3 students, who has passed the course Health Promotion Management. Health Promotion Management has to be completed before Various Aspects of Health Promotion Management course.

Assessment methods and criteria

The course evaluation mark grid varies from 0 to 5 as based on the essay task.The work will be evaluated with numbers 0-5 by using the following criteria:

1. Theoretical background and references
2. Structure, content and logic
3. Argumentation and ability for synthesis
4. Formal compliance with the instructions

If student is away from the contact meetings, student needs to complete compensatory tasks (pass/fail).

Assessment criteria, fail (0)

Student has not returned all assignments, attended to contact teaching sessions or completed replacement assignments. The returned tasks are superficial or do not correspond to the assignment.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

Student has returned all assignments and participated in contact teaching sessions. Student demonstrates basic understanding of the contents of the course.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

Student has returned all assignments on time and actively participated in contact teaching sessions. Student demonstrates good understanding and application of the contents of the course.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Student has returned all assignments on time and actively participated in contact teaching. Student demonstrates profound understanding and application of the contents of the course.

Qualifications

Health Promotion Management I has to be finished before taking the Various Aspects of Health Promotion Management course.
