Objective
Students are able to use vocabulary related to quality and metrology. She/he can identify different quality management systems and can discuss their content and application to practice. Students are able to search for information in the related guidelines.
Content
The course includes
• Metrology-related subjects: calibration, traceability, validation (methods, equipment) measurement uncertainty
• Quality Management Systems (ISO, GMP/GLP) and related vocabulary
• Guidelines relating to above mentioned topics (e.g. validation and measurement uncertainty)
Evaluation scale
H-5
Qualifications
Students should have experience working in a chemical, biochemical, biotech, or microbiology lab. Knowledge of laboratory equipment and laboratory work methods contribute to understanding and embracing the issues of the course.
