International connections

The course follows the practices of innovation pedagogy, where students' active role and responsibility in completing independent and group exercises are central. The course tasks are closely linked to practical problems and real-life examples of community planning.

The course assessment is task-based, and there are no alternative completion methods

Student workload

The student's workload is approximately 27 hours per credit. The course assessment is based on exercises completed independently and in groups.

Content scheduling

Content:
- Urban and community planning
- Basics of infrastructure and logistics
- Community planning and location management programs
- Basics of using the GIS program (QGIS) and utilizing geospatial data
- Energy, nutrient, and material flows as the basis for community planning
