Objective
The student:
• Understand the importance of sexuality for people’s overall well-being and know how to address sexuality with patients of different ages and in the prevention of various diseases
• Become familiar with the most common gynaecological diseases and their prevention
• Understand the normal process of pregnancy and learn common methods of monitoring pregnancy
• Can help a woman giving birth in an urgent, first aid-like situation
• Know the process of a normal postpartum period
• Understand the health promoting capacity of breastfeeding
• Know how to use the key medication databases related to the field

LAB 1 (4h) Gynecological nursing (e.g., contraceptive methods, gynecological examination, gynecological instruments, taking a Pap smear, breast self-examination)
LAB 2 (4h) Emergency childbirth and breastfeeding, as well as pregnancy-related examinations

Anatomy and physiology tests on the Itslearning platform, graded on a pass/fail scale (pass if 50% of answers are correct).
Written preparatory tasks, tutorial work, and small group work, graded on a pass/fail scale.

The exam is graded numerically on a scale of 0-5.

- Work attire is required for classroom practice sessions and simulations.
- Attendance in practice sessions and simulations is mandatory (100%); absences must be made up by attending other groups' sessions! (Make-up with a written assignment is not possible).
- There are related preparatory tasks on the Itslearning platform for practice sessions, which must be completed before attending the session. If a student has not completed the preparatory task, they cannot participate in the session.
