Objective

After completing this study unit student:
- can describe the operation of automotive electronic components and systems.
- is able to explain and the principles of data networks, different types of sensors and electronic stability systems.
- recognize the signs of failures in different electronic components.
- is able to utilize his or hers knowledge in electronic component troubleshooting with an oscilloscope and other test equipment.

- ECU systems in otto and diesel engines
- electronics in suspension and brake systems (ESP, ABS, ASR etc.)
