Content scheduling
Learning outcomes:
-To expand earlier knowledge about project and quality management
-Students gain deeper understanding and more accurate information about project and quality management in the field of construction
Content (some changes possible…)
-Students will get know the practical project work and risk management: role of a project manager, team work, risk management during construction process
-Introduction to the construction quality management in phases of construction process:
construction management phase, design phase, production planning/construction phase, quality control on site
Objective
For civil engineering students only. Organizing a project, reporting, inspection and control, ending a project. Quality control systems and their maintenance; securing quality in planning and during construction. Based on the lectures, the student draws up e.g. a quality assurance plan for a small building project, as well as a plan for organizing, supervising and controlling a project. There will be an individualized project for exchange students.

The course includes three main exercises. Emphasis of assessment in personal
in the main training task.
Scope:
3 credits, about 30 contact hours => 2 contact hours / week
1 credit = 27 hours studying

-participation in lectures / contact hours
-making main exercises reflecting the theory => presentation => feedback
-in addition, smaller exercises in class

The answers to the assignments do not fully correspond to the assignment. Some of the assignments have been returned and submitted late.

All assignments were completed according to the assignment and the assignments were presented on schedule. The student masters the theory of quality management and is able to bring it up in assignments.

All assignments were completed according to the assignment and the assignments were presented on schedule. The student demonstrates the prevailing quality management theory commendably and is able to bring it up in the assignments.
