Content scheduling

After completing the course, the student:
- Understand the operation of district heating and cooling equipment
- Can dimension components of district heating and cooling equipment
- Understand the environmental impact of energy distribution
- Can interpret piping diagrams and determine the type of connection
- Can draw and interpret a PI chart
- Basics of gas distribution and energy transmission
- Other current affairs

Objective

After taking part in this module, the student:
- knows the basic principles of district heating and cooling (DHC)

- can scale different DHC components and equipment

- can compare the suitability of different energy distribution systems utilizing both economic and environmental impact indicators

- knows the basic principles of smart grids

- can compare the suitability of different energy distribution systems utilizing both economic and environmental impact indicators

- knows the basic principles of smart grids.
