Content scheduling

MUSIC
The student undertakes an online course in information retrieval. They develop a comprehensive plan for their thesis and formalize the process by signing a thesis agreement. The student formulates a central research question, which he/she seek to answer in their thesis.. Within the seminar framework, the student presents their research or project concept and serves as an academic opponent for a fellow student's research idea and written work. The student continues to develop their thesis, regularly reporting on its progress, and ultimately presents the completed thesis in seminar sessions.

Objective

Opiskelija osaa laatia suunnitelman opinnäytetyöprojektilleen. Opiskelija osaa muotoilla tutkimuskysymyksen ja perustella väitteensä suullisesti ja kirjallisesti. Opiskelija osaa keskustella ammattimaisesti opinnäytetyönsä aiheesta. Opiskelija osaa antaa vertaispalautetta opponenttina. Opiskelija osaa ottaa vastaan ja analysoida saamaansa palautetta. Opiskelija hallitsee tiedonhaun menetelmiä. Tutkimuksellisen otteen hahmottaminen tiedon hankinnassa ja tekstin tuottamisessa on keskeistä seminaarityöskentelyssä.

Content

Opiskelija laatii suunnitelman opinnäytetyölleen. Opiskelija muotoilee itselleen keskeisen tutkimuksellisen kysymyksen ja perustelee väitteensä sekä suullisesti että kirjallisesti. Hän esittelee vuorollaan oman tutkimusideansa ja toimii opiskelijatoverinsa tutkimusidean ja tekstin opponoijana. Opiskelija työstää opinnäytetyötään ja esittelee opinnäytetyönsä edistymistä seminaaritapaamisissa. Opiskelija suorittaa tiedonhaun verkkokurssin.

- in music training, also familiarization and reporting with theses written by others is required (5 written/ artistic/ functional theses)

The student demonstrates his/her mastery of the study course's core competencies in a manner that meets the minimum requirements. The student has participated in the required group assignments and evaluation discussions and completed the learning tasks required in the study course successfully.

The student demonstrates that he/she masters the core competencies of the study course well. The student has participated in the required group assignments and evaluation discussions and completed the learning tasks required in the study course successfully. The student is able to direct his/her own work in a self-directed, goal-oriented and responsible manner.
