Calculation and mathematics related to the operation and evaluation of a company approx. 5 h.

Planning of the company's financing, lending and the financing process from the perspectives of the company and the financial institution approx. 20 h.

Objective

 Students learn todraw conclusions on the company'scapital structure,as well asbe able to compare their impact of changes in capital structure of the business. Students are able to establish the profitability of the investment-related calculations, and are able to estimate the overall impact of the investment point of view. Students find a variety of sources of finance for investment and are able to assess their suitability in each case.Students learn to analyze the company's operations as well as keyaspects of the operation. Students learn to prepare the material for an Investment so that the company is able to initiate the necessary funding negotiations. Students are able to apply their skills in credit negotiations.

Evaluation methods and criteria

The grade is formed as follows:
Exercises 70%.
Essay, exam 10%
Case 20%.
Any changes in emphasis will be agreed upon during the first lecture or during implementation based on mutually agreed criteria.
The assessed exercises and cases can be given as oral assignments during lectures. The exercises and cases may require familiarization with written material separately specified in connection with the assignment of the exercise or case. The exercises and case material are mainly in electronic form. The assignments and content of the exercises and cases can also be changed or specified if necessary according to the perceived need. Assignments can also be given orally, as in a real customer interface.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Kaikki tehtävät palautettu hyväksytysti. Kokonaispitemäärä kaikista harjoituksista yli 86 % maksimista.
