Objective

After completing the course, the student will be familiar with the wooden materials and products used in load-bearing structures. Additionally, they will be able to dimension conventional structural components (such as beams and columns) using different wooden materials (lumber, glulam, LVL) and standard wood joints (nail, screw and bolt connections).
