Objective
The student is able to:
- describe the operation of automotive electronic components and systems
- recognize the signs of failures in different electronic components
- utilize his or her knowledge in electronic component troubleshooting with an oscilloscope and other test equipment
- explain and understand the principles of data networks, different types of sensors and electronic stability programs
- use his or her knowledge when planning repair shop functions and equipment procurement

- Components of Electronic Stability Programs and their subsystems
- Operation and troubleshooting of electronic sensors and actuators
- Electronic control of otto and diesel engine fuel systems, electronic ignition
