Objective

After completing the course the student will be able to:
- communicate the importance of good supplier relationships
- successfully manage supplier relationships
- manage and develop the performance of an existing supplier by using relevant metrics
- developing and using scorecard for supplier performance
- explain the competitive advantage related to cross-organizational co-operation and partnerships
- conduct supplier assessments/audits

Teaching methods

Lecturing, group-discussions and negotiations, groupworks.

Exam schedules

Exam at the end of the course. The students have two re-exams and those dates will be informed later.

Lectures, group works and discussions, Potential company visits and/or visiting lecturers.

Student workload

Team works, individual assignments.

Evaluation methods and criteria

Succesful completion of assignments and written examination. Exam 50 % and assignments 50% of the final grade. Active participation and assignments returned in time. Grade 0-5.
