Objective

The student can describe the significant features that describe offshore production processes and offshore engineering project processes

Content

As the course deals with major safety issues of ship design, it starts with repetition of basics of oil and gas industry, prior knowledge level assessment, and self-studies. The course topics are:
- Distance learning materials of offshore for non-shipbuilders

- Offshore production: structures, processes and operation

- Health, Safety and Environment

- Offshore projects, tendering and construction processes
