Content scheduling

Concepts of circular economy, biotechnology and cleantech. The emphasis of the conceps is on students' own fields of work and education.
The objectives of the course are:
- to activate the ability to recognose the possibilities of circular economy
- create a new way of thinking that the implementation of circular economy requires.
The course consists of 2 compulsory workshop days. The Structure and Tasks:

- Finalising the 1st Group Task
- 2nd Group Task
Return of the Group Tasks after 4 weeks.

If you are not able to participate the workshop, please inform in forehand. You will be given an extra task.

Student workload

1 credit requires in average 26,7 working hours.
5 credits = 133 hours.
The course consists of Pre-task and a tailor-maid Individual Task that will be presented during the second Workshop day. The Course also includes 2 Group Tasks: a Company assignment and a new idea for a RDI-Project.

Evaluation methods and criteria

Assessment is based on student's reports, presentations and active participation during workshops.
Group Tasks will be evaluated based on the quality of the reports as well as novelty and implementability of the ideas.
The Company will also give their evaluation of the Company assignment.

Raportoinnin arviointi perustuu Kemiantekniikan projektitöiden arviointitaulukkoon, joka löytyy kurssin sivuilta Optimasta sekä yleisiin raportointiohjeisiin, esim. opinnäytetöiden kirjoitusohjeisiin (Messi).
Workshop-työskentelyssä ei osallistu keskusteluun.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

Raportoinnin arviointi perustuu Kemiantekniikan projektitöiden arviointitaulukkoon, joka löytyy kurssin sivuilta Optimasta sekä yleisiin raportointiohjeisiin, esim. opinnäytetöiden kirjoitusohjeisiin (Messi).
Workshop-työskentelyssä osallistuu jonkin verran keskusteluun.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Workshop-työskentelyssä on aktiivinen keskustelija ja uusien näkökulmien tuoja.
