Objective

students- can work independently and as members of a multiprofessional team- improve and deepen their skills in various settings of midwifery in the planning, recording and assessment of care administered to women and families who use maternity services- deepen their skills in the guidance of women and families in midwifery- comply with the ethical guidelines of midwifery and the applicable legislation- master the aseptic techniques- master the central contents of pharmacological therapies and methods applied to puerperal women and newborn babies and administer safe pharmacological treatment- master the monitoring, guidance and care of puerperal women- master the care of healthy newborn babies- can administer critical care to newborn babies as a member of a multiprofessional care team- can support women and families in breast-feeding and the development of early interaction- can provide guidance and care for women and families in sexuality- and contraception-related questions- can use different information systems to reliably document the care administered to women and families

Hyväksytty:
*Tavoitteet toimitettu opettajalle kommentoitavaksi
* Aktiivinen osallistuminen
*Kaikki harjoittelujaksoon vaadittavat tunnit suoritettu (korvauksista sovitaan erikseen opettajan kanssa)
* Arviointilomake ja työvuorotaulukko toimitetaan opettajalle

Evaluation methods and criteria

Eri pituiset harjoittelujaksot arvioidaan asteikolla hyväksytty/ hylätty.
Hyväksytty suoritus edellyttää:
* ohjaavalle opettajalle toimitetaan jakson tavoitteet noin viikon kuluttua jakson alkamisesta (opettaja kommentoi)
*väliarviointikeskustelu ohjaajien kanssa (tiedottaminen opettajalle)
* loppuarviointi ohjaajien kanssa .
* arviointilomakkeet ja työvuorotaulukot toimitetaan opettajalle, joka antaa arvosanan.

Kätilöopiskelijan syventävissä opinnoissa KÄSY 1-4 yhteensä 45 op kokonaistuntimäärä on 1215 h.
