Course has no mandatory webinars. Each assignment has a given deadline throughout the course. Course is suitable to students who are working during studies because video lectures and learning tasks are saved to Moodle and can be done independently by given deadlines.

You will know how to innovate new technological applications and consider possibilities and challenges in new technology. You are capable to design a new application concept based on future technology in tourism.

The principal contents of this course are (1) Trends in tourism technology, (2) New technology and its applications in tourism and hospitality business, (3) Innovation process and practices.

Literature, articles and online materials provided during the implementation (Moodle)
Teaching methods
Video lectures and webinars, reading materials, information search, online discussions, independent assignments (eg. quiz). Project work incl. written report and video presentation. Required tools: fast Internet connection, computer, MS Office, Zoom.

Completion alternatives
