Objective
Students will - identify the various motivations and values behind volunteering, and development trends. - understand the importance of volunteering for different sectors of society and for civil society activities. - recognise different forms of volunteering and the approaches of associations and other bodies organizing voluntary activities. - understand the dynamics between volunteering and paid work. - be familiar with the definition of volunteering and recognise the impact of legislation and official practices.
