Objective
After completing the course, the student has the competence to:
- name key media ethical guidelines and media laws
- present the roles of the key media-related legal issues and the media self-regulatory boards
- apply professional ethics, ethical guidelines and legislation as part of their media work or artistic work
Content
Opiskelija tutustuu media-alaan liittyvään lainsäädäntöön ja ammattietiikkaan ohjeistuksineen. Opiskelija perehtyy media-alaa koskeviin keskeisimpiin lakeihin (muun muassa tekijänoikeuslaki ja sopimusoikeudet) sekä itsesääntelyyn ja sitä harjoittaviin toimijoihin. Opiskelija oppii soveltamaan etiikkaa, ammattietiikkaa ja lainsäädäntöä osana ammattialan työtehtäviään tai taiteellista työtään.
