Opiskelija tekee itsenäiset tehtävät It´s learningin ohjeistuksen mukaisessa järjestyksessä. Oppimistehtävien ohjeistukset aukeavat jakson alkaessa 1.10.2020. Oppimistehtävien viimeinen palautuspäivä on 27.11.2020 klo 23.59.

Objective

The student is able
- to describe current challenges of population’s health and well-being as well as factors affecting them
- to describe the indicators of health and well-being as well as the meaning of knowledge when identifying and organizing services
- to describe social and health services organization and legislation
- to describe social security system,
- to search for information of social and health services to clients in different life situations
- to recognize the meaning of multiprofessionality in the perspective of service needs
- to act more securely and understand the responsibility for promoting security

Content

1. The status of the population’s health and well-being
- current challenges and factors affecting them
- promotion of health and functional ability, prevention of illnesses and accidents
- registers and statistics

2. Social and health services
- social and health care organization and development of it, funding, responsibilities, control/monitoring and client’s and patient’s rights
- social and health services
- income security
- searching information about social and health services and benefits

3. Security in social and health care

Materials

It´s learnin-oppimisympäristöstä löytyvät materiaalit, linkit ja lähteet sekä itsenäinen tiedonhaku.

Exam schedules

Opintojakso ei sisällä tenttiä. Opintojaksossa arvioinnin kohteena ovat It´s learning-oppimisympäristöstä löytyvät tehtävät.

Oppiminen perustuu itsenäiseen tiedonhankintaan ja sen soveltamiseen oppimistehtävissä.

Student workload

It´s learning-oppimisympäristöstä löytyvät tehtävät.
3 opintopistettä on noin 81 tuntia opiskelijan työtä.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Opintojakso on hyväksytty, kun kaikki opintojakson tehtävät on suoritettu hyväksytysti ja palautettu ajallaan.

Evaluation methods and criteria

Kaikkiin kysymyksiin tulee vastata. Jakson hyväksytty suoritus edellyttää, että kaikkiin tehtäviin on vastattu ja kommentoitu omia vastauksia suhteessa mallivastauksiin.

Opiskelija palauttaa tehtävät kokonaisuudessaan ja täyttää suoritusten koosteen 27.11.2020 mennessä. Pelkästään suuhygienistiopiskelijoille tarkoitetusta osiosta (1 op) ei täytetä erikseen suoritusten koostetta.
