Objectives
Student
· is familiar with the methods and special features related to anaesthesia and surgery of patients in different patient groups
· knows how to determine the necessary care measures using up-to-date information and plan, organise and implement perioperative care in elective and acute situations
· knows how to work professionally and collegially in the different roles of a nurse in a surgical ward
· is able to consider economic and ecological aspects in their work by knowing the principles of sustainable development and promote their realisation in perioperative nursing
· follows ethical principles and values in multicultural perioperative nursing
· finds development targets and solutions for perioperative nursing by applying knowledge, research and development methods of the field
· knows how to assess the quality of perioperative nursing and patient safety in order to develop and assess their competence and the operations of the surgical team
