Objective

Students will

• Develop their competence in the public health nursing of special groups
• Develop their competence in planning, providing, documenting and evaluating public health nursing
• Develop their competence in the promotion, monitoring, treatment and guidance regarding the health of different groups
• Develop their ability to function in a multiprofessional work community
• Deepen their competence in developing and assessing the quality of public health nursing
• Deepen their ability to participate in the development of a healthy environment for the community
• Deepen their competence in promotion of the environment and the health of the population

• Utilization of evidence-based information in the public health nursing care of special needs groups
• Planning, implementation, documentation and assessment of the public health nursing care of customers of different ages, their families and various demographic groups

• Health promotion at environmental and population level with special attention to topical challenges
