Student
· knows how to utilise evidence-based knowledge in their own activities in demanding nursing of children and young people
· advances their skills in clinical examination of a child patient
· advances their vocational competence in acute care of children and young people and in the care of a child with a long-term illness
· knows how to guide and support children and families in the nursing of critically sick and dying children
· knows how to recognise the special features of nursing a sick newborn and a premature child
· deepens their competence in the nursing of a paediatric surgical patient
· advances their competence in mental health care of children and young people and is able to support children and families by using the help methods of nursing
· advances their competence in pharmacotherapy and infusion treatment for children and young people
· can assess their own activities as part of the working life community and their professional development in the context of nursing for children and young people
