- is able to study in different learning environments and utilize different learning
strategies in the studies of the legalization pathway
- is able to apply for the right to practise as a nurse in Finland
- identify one's own competence in relation to the studies of the legalization pathway and
can apply for the recognition of competence as needed
- is able to draw up a personal study plan, which also includes a plan for achieving the
Finnish language competence goal
- knows the practices of Finnish working life and various job search options
- knows different career options for nurses and plans his/her own career path based on
them

- study skills, learning environments and information retrieval
- IT skills, programs and tools in learning
- knowledge generated by the legalization pathway
- the assessment of one's own competence, personal planed studies, HOPS and
language-HOPS
- monitoring the progress of studies and guidance and support of studies as part of the
studies of the legalization pathway
- study well-being and study well-being services during studies
- application process for the right to pursue a profession
- Finnish working life and job search process
- career planning and different career options for the nurse

Qualifications

The student has previously completed a nursing degree.
