Exam schedules
The course is not completed by exam.
Pedagogic approaches and sustainable development
During the course, scientific research results (including international English-language publications) are discussed, reflecting them on one's own operating environments. Theories, personal views and experiences are discussed collectively in face-to-face meetings and virtually using flipped learning and innovation pedagogy.
Between teaching days, a visual poster presentation on leadership skills is made as a group work virtually and self-leadership skills are practiced in the form of a reflection diary.
Diversity management, which is part of a responsible CSR (corporate social responsibility) perspective, is an essential part of the course.
Completion alternatives

Student workload
Preliminary assignment (short introductory to the topic)
Individual work: Reflective learning diary
Group work: Visual poster presentation
Total 135h
Evaluation methods and criteria
The grade consists of the student's self-assessment, the group's peer assessment and the teacher's assessment.
The assessment assesses activity (pre-assignment HYV/HYL), cooperation ability
(group work 40%) and the ability to combine theory and own views (analysis, criticism, new ideas
to one's own work in the reflection diary 60%).
The assessment is based on discussions, group work and diary reflection.
There is no exam in the course.
Note! Being late for the deadline for learning assignments does not affect the grade, but teachers do not give written feedback in this case, only a grade.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
INDIVIDUAL TASKS
• Critical thinking in the diary: Reflection is general. Connections between working life and theory are not presented. Analytical approach is lacking.
• Reflection on one's own competence in the diary: Only a little reflection on personal development and that too at a general level without an analytical and reflective approach.
TEAMWORK
• Output: sufficiently presents the main points of the chosen theme. Content and presentation are somewhat lacking. References are inadequate.
• Activity of each member: participates in teamwork and discussions during the course.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
INDIVIDUAL WORK
• Critical thinking in the diary: follows instructions, demonstrates analytical thinking and evaluation. Reflection creates connections between theory and experiences, but they are sometimes too obvious or clear.
• Reflection on one's own competence in the diary: Provide ideas on how to use what you have learned for your personal development.
TEAMWORK
• Output: appropriately presents the most important points of the chosen theme. Several sources have been used. The output is appropriate and understandable. Source annotations have been made correctly.
• Activity of each member: actively participates in teamwork and discussions during the course.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
INDIVIDUAL WORK
• Critical thinking in the diary: Rich in content, insightful analysis and critical evaluation, and clear connections between real-life situations and theory.
• Reflection on one's own competence in the diary: Entries are of high quality and consist of personal reflections that connect real life, learning, and theory. Also includes reflections on the further development of one's own competence.
TEAMWORK
• Output: presents the main points of the chosen theme concisely but thoroughly. The main points reflect critical source selection. The narrative and visual implementation are engaging. The output clearly reflects functional and unified teamwork. Source references are correctly marked.
• Activity of each member: participates very actively in teamwork and discussions during the course.
