After completing the course, the student is able to:
· understand the fundamental role that the population’s health and well-being and the underlying factors play in health promotion
· become familiar with regional, national and international research and development programmes for health promotion and the regulations governing them
· master the concepts, knowledge and fundamental values required for health promotion expertise and become familiar with the ethical foundation and fundamental values of health promotion
· learn to apply basic health promotion knowledge in their activities analyze and appraise studies describing the population’s health and well-being, as well as other current information in the context of health promotion development
