Objective

After completing the course the student canapply logical rules and notation in f.ex. conditional expressions and mathematical proofs,use set theoretical notions and notations,define functions and relations and their properties,calculate and apply permutations and combinations,apply the concepts and properties of divisibility and congruence,use group theoretical concepts such as groups, rings and fields.
