Objective

After completing the course, the student is able to

- assess the development needs of one's own competence and formulate a development task that is meaningful for one's professional development as a starting point for one's thesis
- place one's own professional work in broader contexts of meaning
- acquire and critically evaluate information relevant to the development task from different fields and sources and apply it to goal-oriented problem solving
- apply research-based perspectives and approaches to the analysis of professional productions and processes and develop their own activities based on this
- take ethical aspects into account in thesis-related decisions
- communicate about their development work in professional situations
