Objective
The course supports the development of the student's academic Finnish language skills during the higher education studies. The student
- recognizes his/her own strengths and targets for development as a learner of academic Finnish language
- can write or prepare in Finnish different oral and especially written assignments that are required in his/her higher education studies
- can make improvements on the basis of feedback to his/her own oral and especially written assignments related to his/her higher education studies.
Content
During the course, the students work on their own assignments that are related to their higher education studies and that they are required to write or prepare in Finnish. The course focuses on recognizing the requirements for versatile texts and on writing and preparing different texts or presentations. The course also provides practice in grammatical structures according to the students' own needs.

Proficiency in Finnish language, minimum CEFR level
B1.
