Objective
After taking part in this module, the student:
- knows the properties of different fuels
- can analyze the life cycle impacts of different fuels from an economic and environmental perspective
- knows the impacts of combustion gases generated by the combustion process
- knows the principles of climate protection processes and applications
- can scale both processes and processing units for combustion gas management
- can determine both type and magnitude of emissions generated in combustion
- can describe the emissions generated in nuclear power plants in normal mode
- can describe basic security structures of nuclear power plants and nuclear waste treatment principles
