The student achieves the following knowledge and skills
- indications and manufacturing processes for implant-bearing crowns and bridge structures
- diagnostic and design principles of fixed prostheses
- factors affecting the choice of crown type
- factors affecting the prosthetic restoration of a tooth that has undergone endodontic therapy
- significance of the determination of occlusion and temporary crowns
- factors affecting the choice of the shade for a tooth
- basic principles of the manufacture of crowns and bridges in a laboratory
- preparation of the various crown types and veneers
- determining the colors of a tooth
- making an impression and determining the occlusion for fixed prostheses
