- knowthe basic legal issues in the formation of contracts for the sale of goods
- describe basic elements and differencesin various contract types
- draft and close thecommon contracts in business

Opetusmenetelmät

Learning materials for the course is provided on Optima. All learning and assignments will be done through this Optima platform. Participating students will work in small teams. This method of learning in teams has great benefits for the students for it allows the students to learn from one another. in this way, students develop new and better perspectives on the subject matter.

Arviointiasteikko

Arviointimenetelmät ja arvioinnin perusteet

Evaluation will be based on four assignments, and the submission of the final group assignment. The student need to put a lot of effort in the assignments as this will form the basis of the student's grade.

The grading system ranges from 1 - 5 where;
1 = Mediocre; 2 = Satisfactory; 3 = Good; 4 = Very good; 5 = Excellent
Assessment based on successful completion of course assignments and self-reflection.

Consider active participation in teamwork as necessary for your grades, active participation in team 10%, team discussions 60%, individual assignment constitutes 30% of your grade

• Quantity: The work is not completed and or;
• Quality: The minimum content requirements in law are not met

Acceptable, BUT Below Average
- limited understanding of key doctrines, thinking, and communication are hardly acceptable
- Appear to grasp legal terminalogies but unable to interpret the doctrines correctly.

Arviointikriteerit, hyvä (3-4)

Satisfactory/Very Good
- knowledge of key legal doctrines, thinking, and communication are satisfactory and very good
- Understanding of legal issues and applicability but work could be stronger
- Demonstrate general understanding of legal terminologies and application in real life context

Arviointikriteerit, kiitettävä (5)

Excellent:
- Mastery of the doctrines and penetrating insights in real-life context;
- Outstanding knowledge in legal issues, thinking, and communication
