Objective of the course is to become familiar with the fundamentals of automation engineering. After completing the course, student
- is aware of the fields of automation engineering as well as related concepts
- know basic structure and functions of automation systems
- can read control system diagrams
- is familiar with the typical sensors and actuators used in automation systems
- is able to design control application for a machine
