Objective
The students will be able to
• expand their knowledge of contemporary painting
• position their personal style of expression in relation to the field of contemporary art
• consider their expression from the aesthetic and ethical perspective
• actively study and analyse phenomena in regional, national and global fine art and obtain information independently on phenomena and artists that support the students’ personal exploration into their own expression.
Content
The course concentrates on the creation of a collection of paintings and deepening the acquired painting skills. The students will create a series of works and display them in a space provided or that of the student’s own choice. The students will give a presentation about their painting process, analysing the relevance of the documented expression and content together with the group. The students are expected to actively participate in instruction and feedback discussions.
