Group exhibition Hiostamo 2023 when participating in Artistc work 3-6.

International connections

In spring 3rd year art students are working for an exhibition Hiostamo I - IV. The concept
is a about 2 weeks long exhibition each between Jan - March. Discussions.
There shall be 4 exhibitions alltogether and the student participates in one show - obligatory activity in all discussions during all exhibitions.

Content scheduling

The purpose of studio work is to engage in the analysis of one's own artistic process in relation to other group members and the field of art. The course consists of the student's goal-oriented artistic individual work and discussions. Student can participate to course 3 and 4 which means 5 -10 credits during autumn 2022 without Hiostamo exhibitions in 2023.
During the course he / she prepares a new art work, which can be partly presents in the form of an exhibition series HIOSTAMO I - IV in the Gallery Köysirata. Galleriy is reserved for 2 weeks exhibitions start Jan 2023. There will be 5-6 students and times will be drawn if needed.
One studio work period is four working weeks. However, it should be noted that the student must attend weekly group meetings, lectures, mid-term discussions and meetings with the teacher ( zoom). The student reads articles for his / her own research and suggests documents or similar material of interest during the course. Exhibition visits at least 10 and reports.
