Objective

After completing the course, the student is able to

• distinguish between news journalism and narrative feature journalism stories
• identify different types of stories in narrative journalism and their characteristic narrative methods
• tell about the opportunities and challenges of storytelling in journalism
• use narrative means appropriately in their own journalistic work
• brainstorm, design and implement a publishable journalistic feature story with a narrative
• master the structure design of a long story
• edit their story based on feedback
• demonstrate responsibility and the principles of sustainable development in their editorial work
• assess one's own and others' competence and develop their operations based on feedback

Narrative, long journalistic stories, different forms of their structure and narrative methods. Professional ethics in journalism and Guidelines for journalists in the story process. Attracting an audience to the story; perspectives and the tip of the story.

Qualifications

Compulsory professional studies in journalism or equivalent knowledge and skills.
