The student can
- work in a team and manage the scheduling, planning and execution of a video-based project
- understand the basics of video and sound production as part of a video-based work
- explore their own artistic identity in relation to video art
- develop skills for self-study and independent research
Content
This course introduces students to the different aspects of moving image projects and the production of their own video work. The course introduces the production of image and sound and the installation of the work. Practical work is accompanied by exercises in viewing, work analysis and critical thinking. The rhythm, structure and language of movement of moving images will be analysed during the work reviews.
