Materials

The programs' guidebooks, exercises and electronic "Help" material.

Teaching methods

Task-specific instructions given by the teacher, exercises done in class and independent work.
DigitalFabrication project work to be done in the prototype workshop.

International connections

Learning by doing, independent work and self-evaluation.

Student workload

The course consists of contact teaching, class work and independent work.
Contact teaching basically 12-13h/credit, independent work 15h/credit. The time and place indicated in the agenda.
The course ends with an independent exercise. The exercise will be returned no later than two weeks after the last contact time of the course. Late return affects the course grade.

Content scheduling

During the course, typical software and methods used by designers will be reviewed:
Graphic design (Vector graphics: Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw. Layout: Adobe InDesign. Graphical user interface: Adobe XD, Invision. Image processing: Adobe Photoshop).
3D modeling: (Polygon modeling: Blender, Surface modeling: Rhino3D, SiemensNX. Volume modeling: SiemensNX).
Visualization / Rendering: (Program-specific tools).
Digital Fabrication: (Laser cutting: CorelDraw. CAM: RhinoCAM)
