Objective

After a completed study unit the student
- knows the most important fieldbuses used in industrial data transfer, and the operational principles and basic components (wire-based and wireless) of said fieldbuses
- can configure the most common fieldbuses and add new equipment to a fieldbus
- can devise simple logic software for control over a fieldbus
- has a grasp of the basics of user interface design
- can connect the user interface panel to the programmable logics
- understands the possibilities of remote techniques in user interface design.
