Objectives

Students will
• Learn to assess and support the resources of individuals and families of different ages and to prevent risks and disturbances related to health, insecurity and social development
• Learn to analyse various customer-driven public health nursing methods
• Gain more in-depth skills in addressing problems and assessing the need for early intervention, counselling and care.
• Master various group work methods and know how to supervise peer groups
• Learn to handle special questions regarding individuals and communities in cooperation with multidisciplinary expert groups and learn to apply their knowledge of the environmental impact on the health of communities
• Deepen their competence in public health nursing of special groups
• Strengthen their competence in pharmacotherapy

• Special questions related to families with children and adolescents, e.g. early interaction, rainbow families, disturbances in speech development, child abuse, early intervention, addressing of problems, eating disorders
