Objective
The objective of the course is to familiarize students with the use and programming of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Upon completing the course, the student will:
- Be able to use a programming language based on the IEC standard, such as structured text.
- Understand the basics of algorithms, including:
- Syntax of statements
- Variables
- Loop structures
- Conditional statements
- Action blocks
- Functions
- Be capable of writing and documenting programs in accordance with the IEC standard
