Objective

On completion of the course, the student will
- understand the main characteristics of different fibres and be able to choose the most appropriate one for their own needs, taking into account the sustainability aspect of their choice
- identify different types of fibres, materials and their properties and be able to choose the right materials to use in their own projects, taking into account the sustainability aspect
- know about new fibre innovations, recycled fibres and other ecological materials

Content

The students will familiarize themselves with textile testing equipment, textile sorting, and various types of fibers. Additionally, the course will cover diverse topics such as responsibility, recycling, and innovation.

You can also participate in the course remotely. Company visits and the use of textile testing equipment will be streamed.

The total workload for students is 135 hours, including 26 hours of lectures and practical exercises and 109 hours of individual and group work.
