Objectives:
• Students will comprehend the importance of ethical perspectives, legislation and evidence-based knowledge in decision-making regarding pharmacotherapy
• Students will understand the part of occupational and patient safety in pharmacotherapy and know how to act in order to promote medication safety in different phases of pharmacotherapy according to the pharmacotherapy plan
• Students will know how to describe effective, safe, efficient, appropriate and economic pharmaceutical services and pharmacotherapy in the context of social welfare and health care
• Students will know the roles and responsibilities of different professional groups and medication users in the provision of pharmacotherapy
• Students will become familiar with the basics of pharmacology and pharmacy required in nursing
• Students will know the responsibilities and duties of nurses as medication administrators throughout the treatment process
