Teaching methods

The aim is that students understand the basics of qualitative research and data collection, know the basic types of interview and its analysis methods and their use in different situations, are able to plan the interview research themselves, conduct the interview and analyze the interview material.

Teaching and learning methods utilize expert lectures as well as individual and group assignments and independent study.

Content scheduling

The course (5 cr) introduces qualitative research methods through expert lectures and various assignments. Lectures and exercises form a whole that provides basic knowledge and skills about qualitative methods, their areas of application, as well as practices and concrete tools for conducting research.

The course is implemented remotely using Zoom/Teams.
