Objective
Having completed the course the student
• can describe what digitalization is about
• understands the impact of digitalization for businesses and is able to recognize business opportunities emerging from digitalization
• describes concepts and trends related to digitalisation, such as Big Data, Internet of Things (IOT), Internet of Everything and Blockchain.

• Introduction to digitalisation and business
• Trends in digitalisation
• Technologies supporting the digitalization
Materials
Introduction to Digitalisation:
Material (videos, articles, etc) from internet, available via the learning environments (mainly Optima). All the assignments are done in ViLLE.
Teaching methods
Introduction to Digitalisation:
Collaboration in the learning environments and independent work, online.
Students also self-study subjects and create report and video presentation.
Exam schedules
No exams.

Introduction to Digitalisation:
The course part provides understanding how digitalisation affect to us. Students work and collaborate virtually in the learning environments. Students also make video presentation about digitalisation and share them with other students. Presentations are peer reviewed.
