Objective
The target of the module is to familiarize student to:
- factors affecting the loads and strength of engineering structures and machines
- physics and mathematics required to determine strengths and forces in structures and machines
- properties and selection of engineering materials
- fundamentals of manufacturing methods in metal and process industry.
