Objective

The student is able to define the health and well-being status of an individual, different social groups and the population is able to define the essential indicators of health and the methods of health promotion is able to define the essential national and international health problems is able to explain the essential national regulations and programmes of health promotion is able to explain the essential content of the promotive mental health and drug abuse, nutrition, sexual health and physical activity. are familiar with the basic concepts of ethics and with the ethical code in health care are able to work in an ethical manner in their profession

Promotion of health and well-being 3 cr PROHE Content the national and international health status and the main health problems of different age groups the chalenges of health status to social and health services the essential national regulations and programmes of health promotion (Terveys 2015, Hyvinvointikertomus) personal, group and society level health promotion and promotive health care the essential indicators of health and the methods of health promotion the essential content of the promotive mental health and drug abuse, nutrition, sexual health and physical activity.Ethics in health care 2cr ETHIC Content:- essential concepts of ethics: ethics, moral, norms- values, principles and norms in health care and nursing- patients rights and self-determination- professional ethics and the essential challenges in health care professional ethics- internationalisation and multiculturality - challenges in health care ethics
