Objective

Midwifery Development 5r cr (HOKE)
- Students will enhance their professional skills and knowledge in nursing, leadership and management in nursing, as well as their professional growth.
- Students will be able to independently plan the overall treatment of patients, as well as to administer and evaluate it based on the plan.
- Students will be able to assume overall responsibility for patient care in their work group.
- Students will learn to develop care and the prerequisites for it as nursing experts in their work unit.
- Students will deepen their pharmacotherapy competence in different fields of nursing (medication passport).
- Students will master the special features of clinical nursing and related documentation and understand the role of documentation in the development of nursing.

STUDENT´S TASKS AND DUTIES:
In Sopro Online- application:
- goals for practical training after first week of training
- midterm evaluation with supervisor and written report of it
- final evaluation with supervisor and written report of it.
- planning working schedules
STUDENT´S WORK LOAD 5 credits = 135 hours (of which 2h info lesson and 2h feedback lesson)
OBS! All absent hours needs to be compensated. Possible absent hours should be planned with supervisors at working place and at school (tutor teacher).

Assessment methods and criteria

• Practical training will be evaluated with scale approved/failed (evaluation criteria can be found from messi)
To get approval student needs to attend both midterm and final evaluations.
• Final grade can be given when supervisor and teacher have approved working hours and evaluations
