Objective

After completing the course, the student can
-Describe the phases in the project life cycle and understand their importance for the success of a project
-Initiate and plan a project in accordance with international project frameworks and standards
-Describe the goals and objectives for the project and define the stakeholder requirements for the project deliverables
-Prepare the project management documents for the initiation and planning phase
-Critically evaluate the success of the project initiation and planning phases
-Establish a project organization and act as a project manager in the initiation and planning phases
